REGISTRATION DATES:

  • Saturday, March 25, 2017: 10:00am – 12:00pm (At the Baker Rec Center at Big Creek Park)
  • Tuesday, March 28, 2017: 3:00pm – 6:00pm (At the Baker Rec Center at Big Creek Park)
  • Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm, at the Administration Office at Wallace Park
  • **Late fee begins Monday, April 17, 2017.

LEAGUES:

  • T-Ball:  Ages four (4) through six (6) on May 1st.
  • Boys:
    • Midget: Ages eight (8) and under on May 1st.
    • Minor: Ages ten (10) and under on May 1st.
    • Major: Ages thirteen (13) and under on May 1st.
  • Girls
    • Midget: Ages nine (9) and under on May 1st.
    • Minor: Ages thirteen (13) and under on May 1st.
  • Examples:
    • A player born on January 15, 2009 will be eight years old on May 1, 2017. This player would be in the “Midget League” (male or female player).
    • A player born on May 1, 2006 will be eleven years old on May 1, 2017. This player would play in the “Major League” if a male or in the “Minor League” if a female.
    • A player born on June 2, 2013 will be three years old on May 1, 2017. This player will have to wait one more year before playing “T-Ball”.

COACHES MEETINGS:

  • T-Ball – April 18 @ 6:00pm
  • Boys Midget – April 20 @ 6:00pm
  • Boys Minor – April 18 @ 7:15pm
  • Boys Major – April 18 @ 7:15pm
  • Girls Midget – April 20 @ 7:15pm
  • Girls Minor – To Be Determined
  • Umpires – To Be Determined


Use the League Age Chart to help you determine which league your participant should register for.

The registration fee for all youth leagues is $30 per player for residents and $40 per player for non-residents. Individual non-residents may play in leagues, no team entries allowed. A late fee of $10 per player will be assessed for registration beginning on April 17, 2017.

Players will be notified the first of May of their team assignments by their coaches.

 

T-ball players play their games at Wallace Park or Big Creek Park and purchase their own t-shirts and caps. T-ball players may wear either jeans or shorts and provide their own gloves. Everyone plays when on defense and everyone bats.

Boys Midget players play their games at Athletic Park and purchase their own shirts and caps. Midget league players may wear jeans, shorts or ball pants. A pitching machine will be used. Everyone plays while on defense and everyone bats.

Girls Midget players play their games at Athletic Park and purchase their own shirts and caps. Midget league players may wear jeans, shorts or ball pants. A pitching machine will be used. Everyone plays while on defense and everyone bats.

Boys Minor players play their games at Athletic Park and purchase their own shirts and caps. Park District furnishes ball pants. League players pitch. A pitching machine may be used. Regulation defense with a continuous batting order. Everyone plays at least 3-innings of defense per game.

Girls Minor players play their games at Athletic Park and purchase their own shirts and visors. Park District furnishes ball pants if desired. League players pitch. A pitching machine may be used. Regulation defense with a continuous batting order. Everyone plays at least 3-innings of defense per game.

Boys Major players play their games at Athletic Park. Park District and sponsors provide pants, shirts and caps. League players pitch. Regulation defense with a continuous batting order. Everyone plays at least 3-innings of defense per game.
