Q. Are there any jobs available right now?

Q. How many parks does the Canton Park District have?
A. We currently have 9 parks, 3 trails and 5 facilities totaling 1404 acres.

Q. Is ___ park or ___ pavilion/facility available for rental?
A. Please call the Administration Office for more information on rentals. 309-647-1345

Q. What type of flower is in this bed in ___ Park?
A. Please call 309-647-1010 to speak to our Superintendent of Parks.

Q. What is the deadline for ___ program?
A. Due to the number of programs the CPD offers, we cannot list all of them on the website. Please check our Calendar of Events for registration information or call 309-647-1345.

Q. What forms of payment to you accept?
A. We accept cash, check, Visa, and Master Card. Unfortunately, we do not accept Discover or American Express, so go ahead and leave home without it.

Q. What are the facility hours?
A. Our main office,  is open 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. For other facility hours, please consult the other facility information pages.

Q. How long is the trail at _____ Park?
A. We now have nearly 10 miles of paved trails throughout the District!

Q. Can we rent bicycles at the park?
A. Yes! Absolutely!! Graham Health System and the Park District joined forces to bring you our bike share program in 2019. You can find and rent a bicycle at Wallace Park, Lakeland Park, or at Graham Health System (corner of Main Street and West Pine). Just go to the Apple App Store or Google Play and search for Movatic.

Q. Why does a park district have an airport?
A. That’s a great question!! There are just a few in Illinois. We own/manage Ingersoll Airport thanks to a great relationship to our local philanthropist William P. Ingersoll. We do not levy any taxes for the airport which annually saves the taxpayers several hundred thousand dollars.
