The undersigned applicant understands and agrees that the use of the facilities requested herein is solely at the risk of the applicant and the persons or group of persons for whom the applicant represents. Futher, that the applicant, their employees, agents, representatives and persons acting by, through or under them agree to hold the Canton Park District harmless against any and all actions, causes of action or claims that may be filed against the Park District arising from the use of the facilities requested by applicant herein. Applicant and their agents, employees, representatives and assigns agree to idemnify and hold The Canton Park District harmless against any and all damages, attorney fees and the like arising from their conduct or use of the district facilities requested by this application. Applicant shall be responsible for any damages to park district facilities, equipment, or property during said use. Applicant shall place all generated refuse in proper containers.
Applicant should be advised that Section 2.03 of the Park District Conduct Ordinance states that no peron or persons shall bring, possess or drink any intoxicating liquor in the park system, unless a permit has been obtained from the District.
Applicant is further advised the Donaldson Community Center is a public building and as such, no smoking is permitted.
All renters must pay the minimum charge whether they utilize the (3) hour limit or not and will receive (1) hour free making each rental a total of (4) hours for the above listed prices. Additional hours may be used at the per hour rate listed above
If you use the facility longer than the minimum an additional statement will be sent. Notifications of additional time needed is appreciated before the day of the rental. If notified on the day of the rental an additional fee of $50.00 will be charged.
Price includes the use of the serving area, set-up as specified and tear down. You are responsible to pick up general refuse and place in trash bins located by the south entrance. Any damages made to the facility as a result of your rental will be YOUR financial responsibilty to repair to the condition it was prior to renting. All rentals MUST be paid for one (1) week prior to
the rental date or the reservation will be canceled. The facility is a smoke-free building and no alcoholic beverages are allowed in or on any Park District property without a permit from the District, violations of this are subject to up to a $1,000 fine.
No tape, staples, nails, etc. will be allowed on the walls or ceiling. No fog machines are permitted. You are not permitted to use confetti, silly string, playdoh, glitter, bird seed, rice or other materials thrown inside or outside the building. All tables and chairs must stay inside the building. The Donaldson Community Center is not available on any holiday, including the day after Thanksgiving.
Rental fees MUST be paid one (1) week prior to rental date or the reservation will be canceled. Fees are non-refundable; another date can be reserved. No alocholic beverages are allowed in or on any Park District property without a permit from the District,
violations of this are subject to up to a $1,000 fine. Pavilion rentals do not include playground equipment, ball diamonds or any walking trails. Any damages made to the pavilion or picnic tables as a result of your rental will be YOUR financial responsibility to repair to the condition it was in prior to renting.
