Swimming is allowed only when lifeguard is on duty. No one shall swim alone.
No swimming if you are ill, have open sores, rashes, or an infectious condition.
No food, gum, or candy is allowed in the pool or on swimming decks.
Glass containers are prohibited.
This is a smoke-free environment. Thank you for not smoking.
Showers are required before entering the swimming environment.
Absolutely no running, rough play, or throwing of objects is permitted unless used as part of staff-supervised water activities.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by another patron over the age of 16. Children under 6 must supervised by a parent or guardian at least 18 who is dressed in swim attire.
Children may use swim aides when accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 18.
Spitting and spouting water is not permitted. Swimmers should avoid swallowing pool water.
Water guns and hard toys are not permitted.
Shoes and strollers are prohibited on swimming decks.
Diving is allowed only from diving boards, except during staff-supervised instruction.
Swimming is prohibited in the diving and slide areas.
All children who are not toilet-trained must wear tight fitting rubber or plastic pants.
Swimsuits are required for all swimmers. No street clothes, bandages, or plastic pants.
Anyone under the influence of drugs/alcohol will be denied use of the pool.
Patrons disturbing others or displaying inappropriate behavior will be asked to leave.
Any time thunder and lightning are detected, swimmers will be removed from the pool and pool deck. No patron may re-enter until the “all-clear” signal is given by staff.
Lifeguards are responsible for enforcing safety rules and responding to emergencies. If you have a question or concerns, please come to the check-in desk for assistance. Do not disrupt the lifeguards.
The Canton Park District is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen valuables.
